marriage contract with two signatures over an erased patch and a small set of substituted figures in the tocher clause.
Marriage contract from 1657 with two of the signatures sitting directly over a small, carefully erased patch. The tocher figures in the central clause appear to be substitutions, written over what looks like an earlier set of numbers. Layout and margin work kept separately from the contemporary family account of the marriage.
