added 2026-05-02 · written by ronald macdonald · edinburgh

three-charter set with overlapping later additions in the margins and a probable seventeenth-century reissue of one parchment.
A three-charter set tied to a small Glenfinnan landholding, dated 1641, with overlapping later additions in the right margin of the second and third sheets. The middle sheet appears to be a seventeenth-century reissue using period materials but with slightly different line spacing. Notes on ink colour and margin layout were kept separately from the family story that came attached to the bundle.
